Precept upon Precept

Too many people try and hang all that they believe in on just one or two scriptures. This is not what scripture tells us to do. All the scriptures build upon each other to give us the bigger picture. When you don't do this you are lost. Stop trying to give people one scripture and say this is it, this is all I have to do when the scriptures are full of so much more to guide us and protect us. Everything in there is a help mate!!

ARE WE SAVED BY GRACE AND FAITH ALONE?

                                            by Jay Scher

We are not saved by grace alone subject to popular belief and going to temple has nothing to do with keeping the Feast days/Appointed Times. Judaism rejects Messiah so we know this has nothing to do with it and we pray for our Jewish Brothers/Sisters in the tribe or Yahudah that still have not accepted him. Faith without works is death. Keeping the commandments, the 10 all of them and the other commands listed in scripture is part of works. You have to have all 3,, Faith, grace and works. Just feeling good about yourself and rejecting what is in scripture will not give you salvation. Grace is not a license to sin and rejecting the commands listed in scripture will not earn you salvation. We are to walk as Messiah walked.

1Jn 2:6 The one who says he stays in Him ought himself also to walk, even as He walked.

This means we keep the Torah that applies to us. We are not all farmers so we wouldn’t give our land a rest in the 7th year of farming. We are not all priests and there is no temple so that takes lots of them out.
Faith=Works it doesn't subtract from them. Being popular doesn't earn us salvation either. Having people being attracted to you does not earn you salvation. In fact that should tell you just the opposite. We are told that few enter in through the narrow gate and it is hard to find.

Mat 7:13 “Enter in through the narrow gate! Because the gate is wide – and the way is broad – that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter in through it.
Mat 7:14 “Because the gate is narrow and the way is hard pressed1 which leads to life, and there are few who find it..... We are also told that if we don't keep the commandments that we are a liar and the truth is not in us!1Jn 2:3 And by this we know that we know Him, if we guard His commands.1 Footnote: 1See 3:6.

1Jn 2:4 The one who says, “I know Him,” and does not guard His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. ........ I hope that you will listen to what I am trying to share with you and that it is the truth. Church is a pagan word where pagan man made doctrines are carried out. Only in an Assembly or a Congregation do the truths of Messiah hold fast. Grace like I said will not give you salvation!

Jas 2:14 My brothers, what use is it for anyone to say he has belief but does not have works? This belief is unable to save him.
Jas 2:15 And if a brother or sister is naked and in need of daily food,
Jas 2:16 but one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” but you do not give them the bodily needs, what use is it?
Jas 2:17 So also belief, if it does not have works, is in itself dead.
Jas 2:18 But someone might say, “You have belief, and I have works.” Show me your belief without your works, and I shall show you my belief by my works.
Jas 2:19 You believe that Elohim is one. You do well. The demons also believe – and shudder!
Jas 2:20 But do you wish to know, O foolish man, that the belief without the works is dead?
Jas 2:21 Was not Ab_raham our father declared right by works when he offered Yitsḥaq his son on the altar?
Jas 2:22 Do you see that the belief was working with his works, and by the works the belief was perfected?
Jas 2:23 And the Scripture was filled which says, “Ab_raham believed Elohim, and it was reckoned to him for righteousness.” And he was called, “Elohim’s friend.”
Jas 2:24 You see, then, that a man is declared right by works, and not by belief alone...............

Grace alone =lawlessness and will not give you the tree of life. We are told this so many times in scripture. I will give you just one that will show you that the path you are on, with just going to church and rejecting the commands in scripture will not give you salvation.

Rev 22:12 “And see, I am coming speedily, and My reward is with Me, to give to each according to his work.
Rev 22:13 “I am the ‘Aleph’ and the ‘Taw’, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.
Rev 22:14 “Blessed are those1 doing His commands,2 so that the authority shall be theirs unto the tree of life, and to enter through the gates into the city.

Why do you think it says “Blessed are those doing His Commands”? It says this because if you are doing them then you have come to a level of spiritual maturity where you don’t care what the world has to say about them if you keep them. You know that they are true and you will not let the world and the influences of Ha Shatan/Satan be a factor in your life any longer. You are taking your Messiah/Savior at his word and not the twisting of the scriptures by the majority of the world.
Doing the Commands = Belief, Favor, Obedience and Works. This is the path to true salvation. Oh we forgot to talk about the Obedience part. What, Obedient you mean I have to be obedient, where did that come from, my pastor never said anything about obedience!

"Movement"

This one might upset some of you. I am sure this is going to be the first time that, that would happen ever on my page. LOL There is a problem Huston. The problem is that people don’t see taking the scriptures in the proper context as a whole as the "Hebrew Roots Movement Do”, when in reality it sad that it is even labeled this way and the Scriptures are not seen by the quote UN quote "Hebrew Roots Movement People" for what they really are. Some do, but they are only very few. The Scriptures are the Constitutional Treaty for "The Kingdom of Israel in the New Jerusalem". That is what the scriptures are. They are not a movement, because you follow what they say! What happens in Rev 21? A New Jerusalem comes down and a renewed heaven and a renewed earth, for the former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea is no more. Then we have 12 gates to enter the New Jerusalem with. Each gate has a name of one of the tribes. Do you know what gate you are going through? Once you are in covenant relationship you are part of the body of Messiah in the Way. This is no movement to be in with the Body of Messiah. This is joining covenant relationship with the Father and the Son in the Renewed Covenant. Enough of this movement garbage talks people. People don't even understand what they are being offered and what they have! People in that are all over the place and there is no unity. Realize what you have and stop calling yourself a Movement like you are just another denomination. This is the Truth!! IT IS NOT A MOVEMENT. How can we follow the scriptures the right way and walk as Messiah walked and call ourselves a Movement? Did Messiah and the 12 call themselves “A Movement”? NO, Did King David Call himself a Movement? What about Abraham? Until they understand this they will be just a “Movement”, because they are not accepting the scriptures for what they are. Please Brothers and Sisters stop calling it “The Hebrew Roots Movement”. Please explain what the scriptures are to all of your brothers and sister so they understand what they really are!
