Before All This

                                                   by Jay Scher

Luk 21:1 And looking up He saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury,
Luk 21:2 and He saw a certain poor widow putting in two mites.
Luk 21:3 And He said, “Truly I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all.
Luk 21:4 “For all these out of their excess have put in offerings for Elohim, but she out of her poverty has put in all that she had to live on.”
Luk 21:5 And as some were speaking about the Set-apart Place, that it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, He said,
Luk 21:6 “These that you see – the days are coming in which not one stone shall be left upon another that shall not be thrown down.”
Luk 21:7 And they asked Him, saying, “Teacher, but when shall this be? And what is the sign when this is about to take place?”
Luk 21:8 And He said, “See that you are not led astray, for many shall come in My Name, saying, ‘I am,’ and, ‘The time is near.’ Then do not go after them.
Luk 21:9 “But when you hear of fightings and unrests, do not be alarmed, for these have to take place first, but the end is not immediately.”
Luk 21:10 Then He said to them, “Nation shall rise against nation, and reign against reign.
Luk 21:11 “And there shall be great earthquakes in various places, and scarcities of food and
deadly diseases. And there shall be horrors, and great signs from heaven.

We have all of these things going on now and they are bad, but notice what the next verse says, “BEFORE all this”. Before all this has not even started to happen yet. Today we have the internet and global communication so when something happens we all know about it. We have not even gotten to the really bad, bad stuff yet where some of us will be put in prison and really persecuted. The earthquakes will be much worse than they are now along with scarcities of food and
deadly diseases. And there shall be horrors, and great signs from heaven.

About Forgiveness

This is one of those things that many people say, but don't really want to do, it is a half-truth for them. They try to act righteous, but then when confronted with an opportunity to show it, to show their real fruit, they crumble. Forgiveness is a big area for this. Remember people how you judge another is how you will be judged. If you do not forgive others, Father Yah will not forgive you! If you make a mistake or just do something that a person doesn't like and you apologize for it even if you were not in the wrong. Just to be nice and try to create peace. They still hold it against you. I have seen this on FB especially. People are very short with each other. 70 times 7 is not accepted by most people on FB, even when one is sincere. People don't really want all of the truth and to have all the falsehood removed from their lives. They don't want to have to live by the standards set in scripture even though they talk the talk, so many don't walk the walk and it is really sad to see. I must say!

Psa 119:28 My being has wept from grief; Strengthen me according to Your word.
Psa 119:29 Remove from me the way of falsehood, And favour me with Your Torah.
Psa 119:30 I have chosen the way of truth; Your right-rulings I have held level.
Psa 119:31 I have clung to Your witnesses; O יהוה, do not put me to shame!

What Do You Say?

                                           by Jay Scher

What do you say when a person asks you what you believe in?
Do you stutter and say " well um I um believe in a, a, um, that we are to follow the scriptures" or do you say with a strong confident voice " I believe we are to follow everything that is written in scripture that applies to us, this means all of the commands in Lev 23, EX 20, Lev 11, Dut 16 and a few other places as my foundation". Then you say " I believe that Messiah lived, died and rose 3 days later. I believe in being immersed in his name and the laying on of hands. I believe in two resurrections, not heaven and hell as most people have been taught (some people just said "OH MY") when you are dead, you are ded, the dead know nothing. I believe Messiah will return to the earth again. I believe in a 1000 year reign with Messiah. I believe that there will be a new Heaven created and a new earth created as we are told in Rev 21, a New Jerusalem coming down out of the heavens. I believe in a tree of life for all those that obey the commands written in the scriptures".

I don't believe in Religion and false and often pagan man made traditions or denominations! What I believe in is much bigger than all of this. I believe in a covenant relationship with my Father Yah and Yeshaua Messiah. The Body of Messiah that has so many members that no one organization could contain it!

So what are you going to say the next time someone asks you what you believe in? If you deny him he will deny you!

Rabbi

                                                   by Jay Scher

Mat 23:8 “But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi,’ for One is your Teacher, the Messiah, and you are all brothers.
Mat 23:9 “And do not call anyone on earth your father, for One is your Father, He who is in the heavens.
Mat 23:10 “Neither be called leaders, for One is your Leader, the Messiah.

So many don't listen to this one at all. They call so many people Rabbi's. I gues they think this scripture doesn't apply to them, just like so many other scriptures. Picking and choosing is very popular, but the truth is not!

Jer_9:3 “And they bend their tongue like a bow. Falsehood, and not truth, prevails on the earth. For they proceed from evil to evil, and they have not known Me,” declares יהוה.

Mat_22:16 And they sent to Him their taught ones with the Herodians, saying, “Teacher, we know that You are true, and teach the way of Elohim in truth, and it does not concern You about anyone, for You are not partial to any man.
